What started out as a simple landscape turned into much more. After intervals of waiting for the next chapter of this story to come to me, when finished it was interpretted for me by Denise Williams. The following is her interpretation:
The Himalayas of Tibet have surrounded the figure who has turned his back to conventional knowledge as he seeks that which is inward/outward while facing the unknown. The man climbs the path on his journey far to obtain this wisdom/enlightenment. Behind him is the hand of Buddha planting a seed of faith so that this man may receive his blessing. The lotus fills his cup blossoming within. The three peaks of knowledge separated by blue represent the three Patriarchs of the Buddhist Forshang Temple. The totemic colors represent universal knowledge.
